1967 LEGACY PROGRAM

Fostering the success of trailblazing African American students by empowering them to be leaders and preparing them to contribute to a global society.
FUNDING LEVEL25%

African American students’ success requires the right foundation and acknowledgement of their heritage as an inseparable part of the College’s history and future. To improve the recruitment, retention, graduation and workplace success of African American students, the 1967 Legacy Program will include scholarships, enhanced and extended education support, research experiences around how the work of African Americans contributed to the College of Charleston and the community, and professional preparation to thrive in today’s competitive marketplace.
